Post-Quantum
Cryptography

The deeper we explore the quantum world, the more fascinating it becomes. We pursue resilient cryptography built for the quantum era.

Overview

Security designed
for the quantum era

Conventional cryptography depends on the difficulty of mathematical computation, an assumption increasingly challenged by advances in quantum computing. We investigate security technologies designed to remain dependable as that landscape changes.

Our work covers quantum key distribution (QKD) protocols, implementation and evaluation of post-quantum cryptographic algorithms, and foundational technologies for a future quantum internet.

Research Areas

Quantum Key Distribution (QKD)

Research into key distribution protocols using quantum states of photons, improving noise tolerance and transmission distance in practical environments based on BB84.

Post-Quantum Cryptography

Implementation and performance evaluation of cryptographic algorithms resistant to quantum computers, including lattice- and code-based cryptography.

Quantum Random Number Generation

Research into devices and software that generate true quantum-mechanical randomness, a foundation of secure key generation.
